FUTURE PLANS


-AFRICA Fundraising:

to be sent to Karungu in Kenya, to the Camillian Fathers’ Mission for the building of a welfare home in favour of more than 500 children, who are orphans of both parents, because they have died of A.I.D.S.


-AFRICA: Sponsorship Adoptions.

Whoever wants to adopt a child, will then receive a photo of him, and will be able to write to him via ordinary mail and receive a reply according to the child’s age. The reply will consist of a simple drawing or a small text written and translated by the missionaries. Finally it will be possible to get, sooner or later, his school results.


-KOSOVO: Fundraising:

For the building of a welfare home for those children who are now orphans, because their parents died during the war. This project was promoted by us and carried out in cooperation with the nuns from Glavicica, who are going to deal with the management of the house.


“FINESTRA SUL KOSOVO” ( VIEW OVER KOSOVO).

December,11th 2003 at 5.00 p.m. “Una finestra sul Kosovo” at the cultural centre “S. Maria delle Grazie” in Mestre: a conference attended by Don Lush, a Catholic father who is responsible for the association “Mother Theresa from Calcutta” in Pistina, and Sister Linda, who belongs to the congregation “Daughters of Divine Charity”. The texts and the pictures of “Una finestra sul Kosovo” will be exposed until the 6th of Genuary 2004 in the same cultural centre. The aim of the initiative is raising funds for the welfare home called “Children from Kosovo”.
